What Alabama football QB Mac Jones said after New England Patriots picked him in NFL Draft

TUSCALOOSA, AL. - After being selected No. 15 overall by the New England Patriots, Alabama quarterback Mac Jones spoke about his draft experience.

Jones was projected to be drafted as high as No. 3 but fell outside the top 10.

In response to the wait of being picked:

"It’s was fine. I’m so blessed to be part of this organization. It’s not about where you're picked it’s all about how you take advantage of the opportunity," said Jones.

On the idea of playing for the Patriots:

"We’re just getting started. I’m looking forward to getting started and let’s get it," said Jones.
