TUSCALOOSA NEWS- Week 10 of the high school football season has arrived in the Tuscaloosa area. Here is a look at three top games:
Friday
West Blocton at American Christian Academy
The West Blocton Tigers are led by Eric Hiott, who is in his fifth year. The Tigers are looking for their fifth win after losing the past two weeks by a combined three points.
American Christian Academy, the No. 1-ranked team in Class 4A according to the Alabama Sports Writers Association, looks to finish the final weeks undefeated. The Patriots are undefeated and look to continue their momentum into the playoffs. They made it to the third round of the playoffs in 2019.

McAdory at Northridge
The McAdory Yellow Jackets are 4-5 and look to even their record. The Yellow Jackets have lost two in as many weeks after reeling off four straight wins.
The Northridge Jaguars are 6-2 and currently the third seed in Class 6A Region 4. The Jaguars' defense is dominant, holding opponents to 12.9 points per game.
McAdory is 8-0 all-time against Northridge and beat the Jaguars, 28-7, in 2019.
Bessemer City at Hillcrest
The Bessemer City Tigers have struggled this year but got their first win last week, over Brookwood by a 43-0 score. The Tigers are led by Rudy Griffin who is in his first year as coach.
The Hillcrest Patriots are currently 7-1 overall and 4-1 in the region. The Patriots are led by sophomore quarterback Ethan Crawford, who has the offense averaging 34.9 points per game.
Hillcrest lost to Bessemer City, 31-7, in 2019.
