International electronics company Tegin announced that they will be replacing Gregory Pells and hiring a new CEO, Sherry Greenwald.

Greenwald was previously serving as CEO of Quintex before accepting this position with Tegin, an electronics companies based out of Houston, Texas and known for selling the ultra-lightweight laptop computer.

Greenwald seems to be a great hire. “She is incredibly level-headed, [Greenwald] was a great boss and everyone at Quintex is sad to lose here,” Nathan Flarigain, a Quintex employee said.

Greenwald is 55 years old with two children while being married for 28 years. Greenwald made sure to attribute her success to her family and her husband, which was said in her interview after accepting the CEO job. Greenwald is looking forward to leading the company and bringing yet more success. The hire seems to be going well with Tegin stock rising eight percent after the announcement.

Pells, now former CEO, will go on to serve as an advisor for Tegin. Pells has left Tegin in great hands with. “Greenwald was by far the most qualified individual to lead Tegin,” Tanya Lucas, a Tegin board member remarked.

While this hire looks great on paper, Greenwald still has much to prove in that Tegin is an international company and Quintex is just focused in the United States. Tegin also focuses on the sales of electronics whereas Quintex specializes in the production of microscopes and other scientific equipment.
