One of the best atmospheres in college softball will look a bit differently this year when Alabama hosts games. Adhering to CDC and state public health guidelines, Rhoads Stadium will have a maximum capacity of 30%, or roughly 1,180 people.
Fans will be allowed into the stadium no earlier than one hour before the first pitch and will be required to wear masks at all times when not eating or drinking.
Ticketing will be done through smartphones and there will no longer be reserved parking areas. Parking will be first-come, first-served.
The ticket request application deadline is Feb. 4 and fulfillment emails will be sent Feb. 9.
Tickets will be sent out via mobile delivery on Feb. 12.
General admission seating will be available and sold on a game-by-game basis as long as the allotment is not full.
UA students will be able to opt-in to each home game free of charge.
Opt-in fulfillment emails will be sent out on Tuesdays for weekday games and on Thursdays for weekend games.
Postponements will result in refunds at the end of the season.
The eighth-ranked Crimson Tide's first scheduled home game is Feb. 19 in a 4 p.m. doubleheader against Liberty.
